Book Launch at the Open Center in Manhattan

I am feeling happy about finally bringing to you in book form God and Love on Route 80: The Hidden Mystery of Human Connectedness. It began some 20 years ago in the form of electronic newsletters, and I was surprised that people were exhilarated. About five years ago I began again to think of this enthusiastic response, and so I started the book. It presents an entertaining and mirthful true personal journey about synchronicity and what Larry Dossey MD refers to as "One Mind." Of course, this idea of Mind as something beyond Matter is perfectly consistent with so many great thinkers: Van Gogh, Emerson, Chagall, Watts, Plotinus, Templeton, Rumi, Hegel, Schopenhauer, Whitman, Yeats, Jung, Schrodinger, Bohm, Chopra, and countless others who have likewise resisted materialism.

This book is a true story of a boy's recurring dream (the author) and how he followed it west on Route 80. It is in the genre of Pirsig, Whitman, Kerouac, Steinbeck, and those classic stories about being called on a spiritual journey. But it is also a statement of philosophy of the universe and of human being.
