Works of Love |
December 31, 2016 In less than 24 hours... It may be hard to believe that in just a few hours, we’ll be saying good-bye to 2016 and welcoming in 2017. Before you close the books on the year, would you take action on the last chance to provide a tax-deductible donation and support the Institute for Research on Unlimited Love? We ask for your support. You make an impact! Yes, count on me! For that support, we’ll do our part in enabling youth and adults across the world to reach their potential in a world free of religious violence. Rx: Did You Know That Our TED Talk on the Golden Rule Was a National Hit?This TED talk was indebted to my hearing Norman Rockwell speak about his iconic image when I was a high school boy in Concord, New Hampshire. Rockwell was residing in Stockbridge, Massachusetts in 1961, when he painted his The Golden Rule for the cover of Look Magazine. Rockwell includes people of every age from the very young toddler to the very old. The young, the old and everyone between them are included, as are people of every religion, ethnicity, race, class and men as well as women in equal numbers. The edges of the picture seem to spill over to encompass all humanity without exception, capturing the ideal of a global inclusivity in which everyone matters. With your help we will continue to speak of this global inter-spiritual vision worldwide, and even get Rockwell’s image in every high school lobby. Can we count on you to support the next round of research? Yes, I will donate now. Thank you and Happy, Healthy New Year!
